I love the fact that Sacramento still has at least one drive-in theatre left. I remember going to the drive-in when I was a kid and have very fond memories. And with financial times being as hard as they are right now, it's really a treat to pay one low price for a double feature. The only drawback is the long wait to get in. Other than that, its really a great experience. I too hope they stay open for a long time.
I like westwind sacramento drive-in. The movie price at night is alot cheaper than the walk-ins at night. Who would want to pay ted dollars for one movie at a walk-in at night when you can pay six dollars and seventy five cents for double features at westwind theater/Sacramento 6 drive-in?People can bring their own drinks, snacks, chairs to sit out and relax and enjoy the double features.The fact that car radios are used for speakers is an excellent idea. People can hear movies a lot better.The old speakers that were used in the olden days people either had hrd time hearing the movies or when people got out of their cars to go to the snack bar, the speakers would fall off the windows.I hope they keep westwind sacramento 6 drive-in opened forever.It's a great place to watch double features for only $6.75. It gives the walk-in theaters a run for their money at night because the walk-ins at night are expensive.Tuesday nights are even great, too for only four dollars and something.Really great!
They have made a lot of improvements (Cleaning) at the concession stand especially in the restrooms. It is a good place to spend a family night out . I would rather go to the drive-in than go to a theater any day. They do need to have more people working the gate's it is slow getting in.

Back to what I was doing. This movie theater is great. The only problem I have is when it gets to crowded, because it's like rush hour traffic.
The Drive-In is fun again. No more speaker box to hang on your door. They definitely need to add 1-2 more people at the ticket booths. It's not fun to get in when it is busy. The drive-in is packed on weekends, and they have THREE people helping the masses for 6 screens. It can take 20-25 minutes of bumper-to-bumper because of under staffing. Other than that, its great with the Northern California nights that we have. Famlies can re-connect this way.
My family loves going to the drive in. Great place to check new movies and not spent a fortune doing it. You can bring your own snacks and food which is a huge bonus. I like the seeing the continuing improvements to the consessions and facilities since West Wind took over management.
